Nestled in The Wild Woods at COED HILLS, this Summer Solstice gathering - MEDICINE QUEST - is an invitation to quest for and cultivate personal power and medicine - the medicine of movement, the medicine of vision quest, the medicine of cabana sweat lodge, the medicine of nature and the medicine of brotherhood.
WHO IS IT FOR - It is for men who are called to cultivate a heart-centred embodied masculine energy rooted in their elemental nature. It is for men who strive to live a life of authenticity, integrity, reciprocity, emotional intelligence and embodied wisdom.
VISION QUEST - is a sacred journey of self-discovery and transformation, which is older than words. It is a deliberate period of solitude, often in nature, where one steps away from daily routines to commune deeply with Nature - inner and outer. Wilderness becomes the mirror of one’s own wild Soul. Ultimately, it is a journey not just to discover answers, but to awaken the capacity to live fully and consciously in alignment with one’s true self.
For this journey, the 2nd of 3 ManGroove in The Woods: MEDICINE offerings in 2026, we will dip our toes in to the medicine of the Vision Quest and spend 24hours alone on the land before returning to ‘the village’ to be blessed in the Purification Lodge aka Cabana Sweat lodge.
Together we will explore the core ceremonial practices of Movement Medicine, Vision Quest and Cabana Sweat Lodge. Each of us on our own path seeking, cultivating and honouring the unique medicine we are each born and blessed with. Together by one another's side as brothers, allies and witnesses of each other's unravelling, revealing and strengthening of our meaningful offerings to the world.
The core practices, processes and ceremonies
Vision Quest
Vision Quest is a sacred journey of self-discovery and transformation, which is older than words. It is a deliberate period of solitude, often in nature, where one steps away from daily routines to commune deeply with Nature - inner and outer. Wilderness becomes the mirror of one’s own wild Soul.
Traditionally rooted in Indigenous spiritual practices, a Vision Quest invites reflection, introspection and a search for clarity, purpose, and guidance. It is a powerful immersion into Self that enables individuals to illuminate their life’s direction, ignite creativity and cultivate a deeper sense of meaning, connection, and authenticity. Ultimately, it is a journey not just to discover answers, but to awaken the capacity to live fully and consciously in alignment with one’s true self.

Emergent Shamanic Dynamics
We will explore various rituals, practices and emergent processes as they present themselves in the moment. This cannot be planned as it is responsive to what is needed individually and collectively in the group dynamic.
Cabana - Sweat Lodge
The Purification Lodge is a sacred place where we clean our bodies, emotional, spiritual, mental, physical and release anything that is ready to be released that is no longer serving us. It is a place for dreaming new visions and re-programming ourselves, reclaiming original imprints of ourselves, blessing and healing hearts, bodies and minds. This is an ancient ritual that taps into the ancestral wisdom of our grandparents, the human ones and the elements: fire, earth, water, air. We enter the womb of the Great Mother to be re-born again. In that sense it is both womb and tomb, and symbolises the cycles of life, death and rebirth.
The Cabana is also referred to as Grandmother Spider, who works on the web of healing, weaving the threads of our destiny and unites us. She is very generous to those who are open to receiving and going through the portal of possibilities that she opens for us in our bodies, hearts, minds and souls.
Keef is an initiate of the Brazilian shaman and psychologist XamAM - Alba Maria from Terra Mirim, Brazil. The cabana is therefore deeply aligned with this lineage and is part of the path of the Mother Goddess and the 4 Elements.
Movement Medicine®

This will be shared closer to the event. Think about all weathers., camping kit. Plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Multiple towels. Headlights. Water etc
Weather permitting there should also be the possibility of enjoying some wild swimming.
PLEASE NOTE - If the weather is challenging we will have a lovely YURT with a toasty log burner.
Cancellation Policy
If you booked your ticket but for any reasons you cannot attend the event, do not worry. We understand. You can cancel your booking by writing to us in advance, up to 14 days before the start time of the event, and will give you a 100% refund.
If you need to cancel your booking later, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. However, we will keep your paid credit for one of a future event of your choice. In the situation where the event is cancelled or postponed by us, we will give you a choice of receiving a 100% refund or you can use the paid credit for one of our future events.
