blazing stars burning shreds in the 

velvet blackness and the light leaks 

through screaming cracks bleeding 

life alive again 

the embers fizz and glow in the deep 

dark distance like animal eyes 

thrumming wildness in the mysterious 

nothingness of time

behind the warm embracing safety of 

the sacred fire unknown uncertainty 

lurks in the back ground

death whisper-whistles waiting 

patiently for his moment

tick-tock, drip-drop

your denial

now

and surrender to the inevitable

but first 

life is living

there's a party happening
